Dahlia are a race of divine forest defenders. Despite their racial role they are not normally agressive, infact they are a very kind and friendly species. However if anyone dares to harm the forest or it's inhabitants they bring swift and harsh justice of nature with them. Apart from this they rarely fight, for they do actually loath it. They spend most of their time in quiet contemplation and rest, infact the only work Dahlia society has is looking after their homes, which are often beutiful places on the canopys of trees and gathering berrys, because they dont eat meat of any kind. Because of their close bearing to nature each Dahlia family has a minor animal like power, depending on their totem animal. Hence many Dahlia become Animal Lords. Dahlia are quite tall, about 6 1/2 to 7 ft. tall and weighing about 90 to 150 pounds, for they are very graceful. They have fair complexions and lithe and slim bodys. They have large and expressive eyes that represent colors to do with their totem family animal. They always have long, pointed ears like that of the elves and all Dahlia have a dark yet attractive scar across one eye. It's purpose is unknown, even to the Dahlia. Despite their very docile and innocent appearance, they all have small but sharp claws hidden within their finger-tips. They speak Common, Dahlian and Sylvan.
COMBAT
Dahlia naturally have animal allies. Therfore those who fight them often find themselves in combat with the creatures of the wild. Also these animals no mere trained beasts, but good friends of the Dahlia.
Spell-like Abilities (Sp): At will- speak with animals (their totem animals only) and speak with plants. These spells are as cast by a 5th level druid.

DAHLIA SOCIETY
Dahlia have different familys, and their family names represent different totem animals. Simalia are Apelords, Kodakao are Bearlords, Byrdrila are Birdlords, Katrilas are Catlords, Quinor are Equinelords, Porsolia are Marinelords, Hisrahn are Snakelords and finally Caninil are Wolflords. Their names are based upon their family names animal type, hence a Dahlia of the Katrilas family may be called Tigrar Katrilas. Dahlia lovers, who are often of different totem animals, have mixed animals within their groups. The familys mentioned are the most common, although many smaller familys exist.

DAHLIA CHARACTERS

A Dahlia's favored class is Druid. Although this is the the overall cultural oppinion, the familys bear different favorites of class.
