Schizophrenia has proven itself to be the scourge of psionic minds, as many psions manifesting fission powers have found. Through some rare, off-chance that the psionic power fails, the schizophrenic tendencies of the psion are deformed by the manifestation of the fission power, and a splinter of the psions mind breaks free and forms a physical shell a psionic splinter. Psionic splinters are horrific to behold. Their form can be described vaguely as a twisted duplicate of their creator, although many observers often lack the sense to overlook the twisted flesh and deformed features of the creature to make that connection. The flesh of psionic splinters is sickly twisted and wrinkled- facial features are often moved to the sides of the head to give way to extra eyes, teeth, and mouths, and hair is almost always non-existent. Psionic splinters understand all written and spoken languages, although they prefer to communicate telepathically. Despite their linguistic abilities, they rarely find the sanity and mental calamity through their insane minds to communicate coherently.
COMBAT
Psionic splinters are deadly combatants. They possess nearly inexhaustible psionic powers, and their mere touch transfers the deadly mental chaos that swirls within their minds. Surprisingly, however, they fear their creators more then anything else, and will never willingly approach/attack them.
Psionics (Sp): At will- brain lock, combat precognition, control flame, detect psionics, mass domination, mind probe, teleport without error (self plus 50 pounds of objects only), and whitefire . 3/day- ectoplasmic form . These abilities are as the powers manifested by a 13th-level psion.
Attack/Defence Modes (Sp): At will- all/all
Psionic Contact (Su): The mere touch of a psionic splinter can rend the flesh of a victim through the manifestation of chaotic energies. This ability does not work within a Null psionics field.
Channel (Su): The psionic splinter is able to freely manifest psionic powers upon making touch attacks in the same round.
Telepathy (Su): Psionic splinters are able to communicate telepathically with any creature within 100 feet that has a language.
