The origins of emerald dwarves are unknown to scholars. Many say that an emerald dragon cursed a group of dwarves to forever become emerald dwarves. Others feel that that emerald dragon had blessed these dwarves for a service. There are even those that believe that long dead psionic god created them as his/her champion race. Whatever the origins, emerald dwarves are seen as the most regal of dwarvenkind (by non-dwarves at least). Emerald dwarves tend to look like most dwarves, though their skin is much rougher and has a greenish hue. Emerald dwarves arent as stocky as most dwarves either, they tend to be slim, yet toned like a rock. An emerald dwarfs natural love for gems is seen in both their architecture and art. Their deep mines and underground cities are laden with gems of all types. They enjoy statuary of gem dragons carved from the gems those dragons represent. Emerald dwarves speak Dwarven, Undercommon, and Draconic. Many emerald dwarven adventures also tend to learn Common.
COMBAT Emerald dwarves, like their other dwarven brethren, are experts in combat. Many use their psionic abilities to enhance themselves in combat. Their fierceness in battle outshines many. Dwarven Traits (Ex): These are in addition top the basic dwarven traits, except where noted here.

Psionics (Sp): At willcontrol sound. This ability is as the power manifested by a 1st level psion. Note: if the emerald dwarf has levels in a psionic class (psion/psychic warrior), he uses those levels to determine the manifester level of his abilities.
