They are also crafty, sadistic, self intrested 12ft long beasts. They look like noting more than a huge black leech with a beige underside. But on closer inspection anyone will notice the large pink brain instead of a mouth. They have a taste for knowledge (literaly) so characters with large intellects are in danger of being targeted by a brain leechs hunger. To do this, they simply use various psionic powers to weaken the characters mental defenses and then simply break into the persons psyche and takes whatever knowledge it wants leaving them with the intelligence of an animal. Brain leechs are very intelligent and long lived creatures (some being more than 1'200 years old), with much knowledge of history, cosmologys, arcana, psionics and much more, infact there is not much their not intrested in. Brain Leechs speak common and undercommon but often learn many more due to the years of digesting various humanoids minds. | ||||
